I already got what I'd been really looking for with FL tokens, everything else I either already have or isn't on the site.

Totally. I was lucky enough to be on the site when AzzA was still an absolute powerforce, and some of my personal friends were junior devs there. During my first year or two there were HUGE dev progressions and well-decided/implemented rule changes. Unfortunately the site hasn't had any active work done on it in years, which I think is partly why they're so hesitant to expand their member base.
A good example are their WEB-DL/WEBRIP definitions which are completely nonsensical to me and almost every other highly-ranking, non-staff, user.
The sad thing is that their bots frequently miss primetime TV shows, every single week. These releases need to be then manually uploaded by other users who care enough to port shit over for them.
The problem with their "archival" is that season packs can have almost 20 different torrents from as many different sources as they want which splits the fuck out of the swarm. Like why the fuck do they even allow shitty bitstarved, watermarked, censored WEBRIPs when there are transparent P2P encodes and scene releases from the fucking BluRay?

Which is why looking at snatch counts is pretty successful in my experience. People have downloading habits like I just described, if you figure out what will be popular (and there is shit that yields upload in every category) you will profit.

The only time you should turn to your library is to find what requests you can fill (there probably aren't any requests yet that you can do) since uploading everything off there is fruitless. Books/elearning/textbooks are small categories what you'd have more success in filling with a library and something like overdrive/other book resources, music is probably just a timeconsuming category of obscure requests and fussy requesters.

I always had issues with how BTN seemed so disorganized with their releases and even as you dig into the torrent info page it's just not well thought out and seemless, but when it comes to trackers content is king and they have all of it.

HDB as you mention is nice for keeping shit to just the good releases per show but the fact that they don't carry SD stuff is pretty much a no bueno for TV, much great TV content is SD.

Also with HDB you won't get great retention or selection of the non hit shows, just the one off airing episodes of shit etc. Not really there.

HDB was an oasis back when it opened in the mid 2000's. Back then it was IMPOSSIBLE to find real HD content let alone with good speeds. 10 years ago. Just think about it.
