Why'd you switch to chrome?
>>58886628
I didn't.

I didn't.
>>58886628
It was faster at the time of switch, and being able to sign into any version of chrome and having everything migrate instantly is well worth it.
Because Firefox became sluggish as fuck even with e10s and no bloat
>>58886628
To test it out. Shit sucks.

Firefox does the same.

>>58886665
Yeah, now. I don't feel like switching now for a slight increase in privacy. I trust jewgle with my information anyway. Don't really care.
laggy and stuttery on windows and android but breddy gud on desktop linux

I didn't. I switched to Opera.
>>58886862
>opera
Lmao hello 2008
>>58886628
Because I like it better. That's all there is to it.
>>58886628
Because Firefox has major performance issues and a less desirable interface.
I really, really want to switch to Chrome because it seems to handle memory better.
After using it for a while and having too many tabs open, Firefox just starts glitching out. Parts of web pages turn black, flash applets crash, and then opening another complex page like Youtube or Google Maps just causes it to crash entirely. I have to restart Firefox to fix all of this.
Why haven't I moved to Chrome? Mainly because I hate the address bar. Firefox is so much better at remembering pages I've been to. All I have to recall is a little bit of the title and type in a few letters. Chrome "forgets" things after they haven't been used in a while, and it seems to default to showing Google search results above pages from your history. Firefox also shows more results from the history search and a scroll bar to scroll through them.
Firefox is frustrating at times, but I just can't do without its address bar.
what was the last properly working version of firefox? (or some fork)
current state of firefox
>>58887630
yeah, that about covers it.
>not using god-tier midori browser

>cross platform
>no botnets, no hipster agenda devs
>>58887689
So far Epiphany seems to be working out for me ok. But I may give Midori another spin.
>>58887630
Did it shit itself?
vimperator stopped working.
