use 2.2.1
>>58885719
You have 3 options:
>ClamAV
>Common sense 2016 LTS
>Common sense 2017 beta
Use old walwarebytes to detect the new malware malwarebytes anti malware.
>>58885900
>not using Common sense 2017 Developer's Nightly builds
>>58885719
>new one is malware
>new design and interface makes it malware
wew laddy
Also;
>Using Windows
>Not using GNU/Linux + Clam + RKHunter + Debsums
>>58885929
new one is malware because it stays running in the background when you close the window unlike previous versions, and you can't change this behaviour
>>58885929
It install a forced service with 100% listening to internet uptime and a rootkit to prevent them
nu malwarebytes really does look like one of those fake antiviruses though
i have a lifetime subscription though. so fuck em.
>>58886100
modern flat design looks so awful
>>58886116
My biggest complaint with flat design is that a lot of buttons don't actually look like buttons. The gear next to "Real-Time Protection", for example, doesn't have any border around it like it would before.
>>58886100
Main issue isn't how it looks, main issue is that you can't just use it when you want to scan anymore, to use it you are forced to have it running on background all the time
>>58885719
Use Avast
>>58886167
CAUTION
A VIRUS HAS BEEN DETECTED
WhatvAV has the least systems impact?
300+ MB of RAM just doing nothing but running in the background
How do I switch back to MB 2.x?
>>58886166
>to use it you are forced to have it running on background all the time
Only if you buy premium. I like it running though, it's saved my ass countless times when I was an idiot

>>58886208
No, you fucking retard, unlike 2, v3 install a service that MUST run in the background or MB will not even open
>>58886230
>getting this mad over an antivirus program
kys my man
>>58885923
I can't use nightly. I have limited bandwidth so I can't have daily updates. But it's a good recommendation.
>>58886253
It's antimalware, actually
>>58885719
try combofix... i dont know what does /g/ thinks about it.
>>58886393
ackhlually
>>58885900
>>58885923
>2017 beta
>fucking nightly builds
Do you idiots realize how unstable those are? Common Sense has been rock solid for more than a decade now, there's no reason to update the features or change the interface. Just a bunch of nonsense that can go wrong.
Common Sense 2004 Home Edition reporting in. Had it since the day they released it and there's never been any reason to change.
>>58885719
>malwarebytes is malware
exactly how?
Mine hasn't updated? SO, I guess that is good
>>58886489
read the thread
Malwarebytes Techbench

>>58886230
