I spend 70% of the time looking at documentation, 20% in meetings and 10% actual coding.
I want off this ride

You know you love it, bitch. Don't deny it.
>>58882845
what about the last 10 % ?

I love programming.
But I FUCKING HATE working in this industry.
And if I could go back I would have chosen something...ANYTHING...else than this shit.
I'm sure I still would have programmed on the side. For myself. Maybe some shareware or some freedum or shit
But this is a horrible career.
>pajeets
>meetings
>everything has bugs
>god damn bugs everywhere
>read docs
>then experiment to find out what the api really does
>pay money to get source to library used in project
>can't add the feature we wanted the source for because it's mom's spaghetti
>people who worked on it couldn't write fizz buzz if you put a gun to their head
>late nights
>sore ass from sitting so much
>flabby body cause no time to get outside and exercise
>deadlines 6mo too soon
>no money spent on testing or qc
>always scared of outsourcing
>clueless managers
>ever dumber salespeople
>but guess what?
>THEY ALL MAKE MORE MONEY
And to top it off:
>forefront of sjw bullshit
>purple haired fat chicks who can't code but will cry raep if you criticize their shit
Fuck this. Why the fuck did I choose this?
