Would such wall actually help or would sound just bounce off the walls and result in pretty much same noise level? And what would work better noise absorping or reflecting material.
I think It is reasonable expectation that this would indeed reduce the noise with sound absorbing material and if there is enought space on the desk I do not see any issue.
Wrap your computer in it. Oh wait

How about using 500rpm fans?
>>58881952
that is tranding of cooling power for more quitness, you can as well turn off all your fans for more silence.
Fan controllers are also more expensive than wraping whole pc in foam+wall
Fill the insides with foam, stop all the noise inside the case

Well, fans are mounted on the walls of the case,i can see that would reduce graphic card and cpu fan noise tho.
Last time I seen thread reccomending to have computer in other room[not really option for most people]
But building mini-room inside the room seems more doable
Did not some youtuber with shit-ton of money like linus tips make video on this?

You can remove the fans on the walls.
More foam = Less noise
>>58881856
Grow the fuck up and get better fans you child. You post the same shit on/CSG/
>weak hardware that could be cooled passively
>Proceed to slap 10 fucking noisy fans on it
Just don't use the fans? No moving parts means no noise.

No mom,I want my computer to fly, silently and cheap.
I didn't even read the OP I'm just here to tell you this: that picture is so horrifying I can't even.
