The only type of teleportation i know of is quantum, and that only applies to particles and isn't at all applicable to anything larger
So I want to say teleportation will never happen but who knows, maybe a breakthrough will happen at some point in the future

Light doesn't teleport either. Teleporting implies going from point a to point b instantaneously which means going faster than light, again which is IMPOSSIBLE. Going faster than light makes NO sense in physics as spacetime won't allow the time component to reach 0. You can get closer and closer but you'll never reach light speed and the energy required to keep accelerating grows like crazy.
