It's for touch screens when you need more precision.
>Fabulous! Will be great for those occasions when a website relies on hover-over to bring up a menu.
>Hopefully this is precursor to being able to extend the screen to another monitor using the Microsoft Wireless Adapter now, even when in tablet mode. If that happens, then I'll probably throw away the keyboard for my Asus T100HA and just use a bluetooth keyboard instead when I need to use it like a desktop.

It's for when you connect a windows tablet to a external screen
you can use all screens without the need for a mouse

And when you are lazy and dont want to wave around while using the tablet. Or when you want to pinpoint or hover something on tablet mode
So basically niche use, but still has some use nevertheless

Windows 10 HAD mouse over functionality in touch by tap and hold, then move. Then they randomly removed it to make the same action text selection instead, regardless of whether in tablet mode or desktop mode.
Pissed me off since I loved using it to hover links, then using the right click functionality to open link in new tab.
If this stupid thing is their new answer for that, okay then. It better not suck.
