Why youtube doesn't make you disable adblock like many other

The newest tricks of the advertisers are even worse. Paying the YouTubers directly to insert ads into the video. They are not ads server by Google which can be blocked. They are part of the main video.
And people fall for it even easier. Since if that YouTuber they like so much personally advertises it, it has to be good, right?

Speaking of Youtube and adblock, my adblock is not blocking Youtube ads anymore since a couple days ago.

On Firefox, AB+ blocks absolutely everything, no questions asked. Both are subscribed to "easy list". I would try Ublock or whatever, but it's supposedly just using the same lists anyway?

google operates youtube at a loss. literally all they give a shit about youtube for is spying on you/seeing what kind of shit you watch. if they tried to make people get rid of ad block, then some other youtube alternative would make a play off the backlash and google would lose out on users to spy on. their primary concern with youtube is just staying top dog in terms of internet videos, actually making money directly from youtube is secondary
