I even use DDG to direct myself to websites. Instead of typing wolframalpha.com just type !wa in the search bar to go straight there.

Privacy is nice and all, but just being able to specifically search so many websites from one address bar with minimal effort is really nice. the syntax to do the same from toher search engines is not as simple as far as I'm aware.
