want to get into the Mini ITX build meme,
should I go with a mini tower or a console design?
>>58871588
Whichever you pick you'll regret doing ITX later on.
>>58871588
>Mini ITX
Don't do it.
t. built a mini ITX last year

Those are some yuuuuge boopers.

fuck off retards

tower/box is easier to fit a regular graphics card than in a htpc/console style case.
just make sure you check PSU position so you know how much space you got if you want a 3rd party CPU cooler.
also check if the case supports regular ATX, SFX or external powerbrick.
What's the smallest itx case that can fit a 280mm aio, a atx psu and a gtx 1080?
The left is much much much higher quality than the right, and it also have adequate cooling. If you don't care about cooling or quality then the right will surely save you some money for components. Needless to say I went with the NCASE. i5-7600k Auto-OC idle at 36˚ Celsius and 67˚ Celsius under load.

do your own research
>>58872132
I suggest an SFX PSU, you will have much more wire space. I own pic related. Gold and comes with a 7 year warranty.
>>58872077
>powerbrick
Mcfucking kys yourself tourist
mini cube and tower style cases are generally easier to work in, have better cooling and are generally fairly big
Slim cases are usually a bit of a hassle to build the first time, may have heat issues depending on the case (most slim cases have the GPU seperate and proper vents for all the coolers though) but in my opinion slim cases really work better with the whole point of getting ITX, small size. A corsair 250D for example is actually pretty fucking huge
>>58872217
>for the wattage it's the size of a laptop charger
>for the size and durability it has to get hot already
>the case already has cooling issues
Not playing in Hard Mode.
>>58872217
i never said it was good you fucking autist
tower it is.
>>58872809
>buys ITX
>buys a case as big as normal PC
>>58871588
I'm going to go with mini tower as its compact and stores away.
>>58872285
This
How can cubefags even compete
>>58872809
the Nano S looks pretty tall compared to the nCase.
>>58872809
why the fuck is there a doormat on the desk
>>58872285
enjoy your housefire
>>58872946
Why?
Because the fresh air goes directly in and then out instead of tornadoing all over the empty space in the case?
>>58871588
why is this allowed?
>>58872974
Because they people who want it are retarded enough to pay that
You know if you don't want it, there's plenty of $30-50 ITX minitowers, but you want it because you're the retarded demographic of it
>>58872986
or, you know, it could be better materials and higher quality.
>>58873016
>aluminum and steel sheet metal
>throw in some sandblasted texture and neutral grays
OH MY GOD QUAILTY, AESTHETIC OF THE YEAR
>>58873016
But why is that allowed to make a case 6 times as expensive?
>>58873068
because plastic is cheap
>>58873052
what are you, a poorfag?
>>58873084
No I just want an all-metal sandblasted case, powdercoated, with good tolerances and sensible hardware placement and $150 of cocaine, all for the same price as the M1
>>58873165
even brands like lian li get expensive, that stuff just costs money to make due to the small runs. it's not a big enough market for mass manufacturing full metal cases.
>>58873454
>even lian li is expensive
I'm talking about the $50 cases that are the same metal as any other
>>58871588
I have a DAN-Case and it is good.
