tl;dr
>when I connect to VPN, Wi-Fi on laptop I'm using D/Cs.
>D/C from VPN = net working fine.

In a stupor one night many months ago, I messed around with some settings in the Device Manager, specifically ones pertaining to my home router.

While on my laptop.

I woke up and I hazily remember it working fine, but my VPN connection ended up eventually turning toes up.

Also used to be able to connect to the 5Ghz. but because of my technologically inept mind, I'm stuck using 2.4Ghz. This occurred about a month or so before the VPN issue, and I must've had a hand in it.

I could do on in detail, but I would enjoy to read some general ideas on how to remedy this situation.

(Win 8.1 x64-bit 2013 Toshiba Satellite P55t-A)
Upgraded Ram to 8gb nothing else varied.

I can take a VLC record to show what's happening.

Any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated, /g/entlemen.

Please request anything information you might also need.
