ntfs fuse plugin is plagued by notoriously bad performance.

I've yet to have files damaged because of it but then again I avoid it like fire (only one usb flashdrive with NTFS for compatibility reasons)

Not that anon, but since System™ you can't alter system files (like kernel modules) unless you disable it.
I personally think it's a good idea to keep system integrity. Then again, anyone who wants to do something like that should be wise to know what they're doing, which makes it kinda of an oxymoron

I don't really think Apple cares about giving people access to NTFS.

I use Paragon, yes it does fuck up randomly, but i only need NTFS to connect a USB to my TV.
I wouldn't recommend making important backups on NTFS to use with a Mac.

I have no problem with ntfs on linux with my legacy hdd. In other news w7 couldn't properly unmount the disk and screwed up some game saves of mine.
