PIMAX 8K VR 3D Headset ON GEARBEAST

I truly think the rift and vive are overpriced for their own good. Hopefully it takes a Chinese brand or outside company to really create a VR headset at a value, but I don't think this headset is the one to do so.

VR works best with a OLED screen, a fast response time and a high refresh rate which I doubt this has.

Also this must have displayport 1.4 to actually work at 8k, but you're still set back to 60hz.

Putting a higher res screen doesn't substitute color reproduction and the missing 30Frames to have smooth 90FPS VR

there actually made one, the same company, Pimax, they made a 4k VR headset for a $370, this is just their new model

I do think PiMax knows what they're doing wrong, but it's probably hard for them to find a company that produces and sells small 4k screens at 90hz.

No, actually it said the page, HDMI 1.4b. HDMI 1.4a can only transmit 4k at 30hz and with HDMI 1.4b it can sent 4k 60hz

Plus it can go up to 90hz maybe at 1440p or 1080p that's if you use software tweaking
