What's better about it?

I downloaded it in favor of ditching chrome but I can't detect any major differences yet other than a slightly more cluttered interface. Also, my tabs aren't syncing immediately, don't know what's up with that.

You better use Chromium instead of both Chrome or Yandex.Browser. Assuming that Chromium's rendering engine is what you want.
