Why isn't Opera browser of choice for /g/entlemen?
>>58850058
Because it died three years ago and is now just a shitty Chromium based browser

But, Chromium is objectively the best browser/engine in the world. So how could that be a negative?

It doesn't even matter because they're Chinese property now.
>>58850101
Because it was magnitudes better before they gutted it and anyone who knows this will refuse to use Chropera
>>58850133
But it wasn't better at all.
Presto never worked with anything. Most buggy engine since IE6.
There is a reason they jumped on chromium.
Even the offshoot of Opera, Vivaldi also choose Chromium.

Presto was awesome, but that's not even what made Opera so great. It was all the features that they just flat out stripped Chropera of (years later it still can't even do everything Opera can). Also, Presto wasn't buggy, it just happened to be the only engine that strictly adhered to standards. If your site rendered incorrectly, it's your own fault.

And that's not even the worst part.

The fact it is it's own VPN means it sniffs all your traffic and is logging it.
Not good for privacy.
