http://www.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_redmi_note_4x_hatsune_miku_special_edition_was_unveiled_in_china-news-23272.php

>The special edition merely offers a cosmetic change and a special accessory package. Underthe hood, it is the same Redmi Note 4, we are already familiar with.

>Frankly, if you are that into Hatsune Miku, chances are you are going to enjoy a Redmi Note 4 in one of the two new unique colors - Hatsune Green and Cherry Pink, complete with a signature on the back. You also get a stylized package, a printed protective case and limited edition Mi Power bank.

>As already mentioned, the internals are exactly the same as on the international Redmi Note 4, which does make us wonder why Xiaomi felt the need for an "X" branding, along with the special edition description. This also brings about some additional confusion, since a higher-end Redmi Note 4X has been passing by the rumor mill as well.

>We are not exactly sure if this excludes the announcement of a more powerful Redmi Note 4X version in the future, but this special edition come with a 5.5-inch, FullHD panel, Snapdragon 625 SoC, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. You also get a 13MP, plus 5MP camera setup, fingerprint reader and a 4100 mAh battery.

Anyone have the GPD XD (android tablet with a clamshell build with great hardware controls)?
Keep getting back into old games on my phone before giving up due to awful onscreen controls and thinking a designated portable emulation box is the next step up, especially seeing that it has great battery life and I fly very often.
Sure, it's just a toy like most tablets but seems to be a rewarding toy.

I don't have one, but I've got a hacked psp and I've heard that the GPD have a bit more power so they can run dreamcast and N64 emulators better.
Been considering one, but the Vita just got hacked not too long ago, so I'm kinda waiting to see what kind of CFW starts dropping, and if someone is able to make a vita emulator for another platform like the GPD.

Should I buy the Oneplus 3T when the 128 gets stocked again or should I wait for the Oneplus 5?
>>

>>
>>58851722
If it gets stocked again before May, then yes. If not, wait for the 5 because by the time they ship out the 3T (if it gets restocked in may or whatever), they probably would have already announced the 5.

>>58850944

>>
>>58851722

>>
>>58851722
I'm waiting for the 5. Sure my phone is seriously slow right now (due to always buying budget phones instead of mid-range) but upgrading when the 5 is out will be grand. Then I can keep to my promise of only updating once every two years, regarding this piece of shit I'm using.
>>
>>58851850
Well it's not a guarantee the 5 will be amazing. It can easily be a dud. Have you chosen a backup plan if that is the case?
>>
>>58851857
If it's a dud like the oneplus 2, I'll pick up a cheap 3t or anything else that seems good around the time. Anything would be an upgrade over this phone so I'm sure I'll be impressed.

My Moto G4 won't turbo charge anymore. I bought OEM from Amazon but it still won't charge fast

What else could be the reason why?
>>
>>58852829
It's mediocre. Why bother when you can just get an iPhone for the same price.

>>58853055
turbo charge works per %
meaning it doesn't charge fast at like 70% or something
but if you're at like 10%, then it charges fast up until something above 50%
>>
>>58853113

>>
>>58853119
>>58853138
You have to do more tests, twice doesn't really give you enough information.
So do more tests, and time them. Do separate tests, one from 10%-50%, and then others from 50%-100%. The one from 10%-50% should always be faster. But again, you'll have to keep everything else the exact same (ie charging from your desktop computer or an outlet, don't change, also try not to use your phone while charging but keep it on). Actually time them.

From there you'll be able to tell if there's a problem with the charging. Or you can just skip all of this, talk to moto support and get a replacement or something of that nature.

I'm looking for the best quality/price 5-5.5", min FHD, 3GB RAM, idgaf about the cpu, >3000mah battery, SD and best possible camera in this range.
I really like the Moto Z Play, or maybe the Axon 7, any thoughts/experiences?

No way it'll be even close to $350 unless it's some extremely limited edition that sells out the minute it goes on sale. I'd guess it'll be around $200.

The Mediatek SoC means no custom ROMs so you'll be stuck using UMI's android skin and hoping they keep releasing updates for it. From what I read the camera is pretty average too.

If I go from the LG G4 to the Google Pixel, how much better will my life be in terms of battery life? I'm tired of getting to 35-50% on 3 hours of screentime
>>
>>58859328
Maybe you have a wakelock, did you install any apps recently? Are any of those social media related? Does your phone get poor signal on your room/wherever you let it rest at night? Because just installing facebook and twitter then letting them stay in the recent apps screen drains a shitload of battery idle, and even if you close them they're always constantly updating.
>>
>>58861085
No improvement at all, the G4 is a 1440p phone with 3000 mAh battery and the pixlel is 1080p with 2700 mAh but AMOLED screens drain more battery than LCD unless you keep your homescreen and app interfaces all black, google botnet is also always syncing so that's another battery drain.

Keep in mind you're going from a phone famous for bootlooping like crazy to one famous for being overpriced and having faulty hardware (camera lens flare, crackling speakers).

Consider either the OP3T or the HTC10, the only flagships worth buying, or if you don't mind a little cancer the Galaxy S7 Edge.

They're utter trash; bad build quality, no SD slot, no 3.5mm jack and the most cancerous android skin this side of EMUI, their only redeemable traits are offering flagship specs and good camera for reasonable prices, but the ZUK line of phones offers the same specs for cheaper, and Lenovo is far superior when it comes to build quality (they've been doing the moto G phones since the G3 after all, and those are THE budget phones), Huawei "Honor" and the Mi series of Xiaomi are also kings when it comes to budget cameras.

Leddit keeps the lelele brand popular because of the name and the no jack thing, to support an underdog and "keep up" with apple, nu-males don't need 128GB internal with a 256GB SD card inserted in their phone it to store anime and loli porn after all, only 32 GB for making duck faces at the front camera and filming tyrone fucking their girlfriends.

Anyone know how to separate notification volume from ringer volume with android? I'm using an HTC 10 with Nougat

Texts keep shredding my eardrums when I'm listening to something with my earphones in,v and at the same time by ringtone is quiet as dick and it's fucking obnoxious
>>
please... what phone should i get in canada that supports lte
>>
>>58874595
Google Pixel

>>58874459
Volume Control app from app store might be able to do it. Another option is to make the ringtone file you're using louder

lmao

How likely is it that the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) comes to Verizon?
>>
>>58874803
Is there a way to make a sound quieter so I can modify the volume of my notification noise too?
>>
>>58865535
Are you a germanfag?
>>
>>58875416
Yeah, either increase the ringtone volume or lower the notification volume so they're about the same. If they're mp3s you can use this http://www.mp3louder.com

iPhone 7 Plus 32GB, rosegold.

If you need more storage just buy another one, no need to get a bigger model, support the best company on earth so they keep making even better products!

Just got a n Xperia Z3V, and Marshmallow is available for every version except for the US variant. How would I go about loading M onto this?

Had pic related since January of last year and still works like a charm, best phone I've ever owned. Is there any reason for me to get one of the newer phones?

Fuck off pal.

Anyway, there isn't a single phone and carrier where the OTA nougat update hasn't been a trainwreck; full of bugs, decreased battery life and other random shit, ironically you'd be better off rooting and going with a custom rom unless you dig the touchwizz appearance, there's no real need for moving onto nougat if you're on marshmallow, there's no xposed support and the improved doze mode can be emulated with greenify.

They keep delaying the nougat update for almost all flagships because they can't shit out a non-buggy version, i think only yuropoors got a semi-decent one on the HTC10 and Xperia Z5+.

Is it okay to ask for advice on buying a tablet? I'm in Germany, looking for a tablet for €200 or a little over that. I just care about having a decent camera and the screen size being definitely wider than my old Nexus 7 2013.
>>
what phone should i get in canada under $300?

needs to support lte bands and not have shit camera
>>
>>58876389
Yes.

Don't buy an android tablet, they're trash, shoot for a chinky one that can run W10 instead, it's way, way better, if you still want said android tablet buy a Xiami Mi Max instead, it's 7" and has good specs and camera, no idea about the bands though.
>>
>>58876023
Moto G4 or LG V10
>>
>>58865524
Who gives a shit about the camera. Its good enough. If you care so much about camera quality buy a dedicated camera. No need to have buyers remorse.
>>
>>58876378
>Doesn't like Shiburin
Fuck off homo-NEET. You have worst advices, they are not bugs but rather features. It's not google's fault the manufacturer can't make Nougat work.
>>
>>58876375
I'd suggest backing up everything and getting a cheap replacement phone if only because all the nexus phones starting from the 5 (only the N4 and N6 were safe from this) were shown to have real planned obsolescence, your nexus 6p has several hardware issues only made worse with the nougat update that make it shit itself at low battery (35%), not charge past 80%, overheating and sometimes shutting off at random and never turning back on again, and yes this was officially acknowledged by google.
>>
>>58876430
Thanks for the advice. Don't think I mind using Windows 10. Are there any particular Chinese tablets that can run W10 which you would recommend?
>>
>>58876451
He's shitposting nigga, the pixel is simply not worth the money no matter what version you get, literally a test by google to see if android users would buy an overpriced piece of trash if they labeled it as the "iphone of android".
>>
>>58876411
zuk z2
>>
>>58876541
Doesn't support some LTE bands in NA though.

Idk how important it is but seems like people say reception takes a big hit.
>>
>>58876523
W10 is a tablet os, of course you won't mind it for tablet, it's godly for visual novels and some light gaming like PSP, PS1 and the like.

Cube i9, bluboo and chuwi are some good choices according to /csg/, no idea which specific chuwi tablet though, but bluboo is if you're on a limited budget.
>>
>>58876492
I've recently had it serviced after having concerns about the things you're talking about so hopefully it won't shit the bed

>>
>>58876592
It will, there is no "if", backup everything, buy a RN3P/G4 Play and have your warranty on hand, then go complain and show them how the phone is faulty then guilt trip them into letting you invest the phone's price into another phone, if not then get a new one and swappa that shit and make do with your stopgap phone until a worthwhile 2017 flagship comes out.

>>58876635
These phones started malfunctioning after the pixel got it's first update, they're doing the exact same shit applel does with ios and old iphones: optimizing the software for the newest toy and purposefully breaking the old ones so you go to the store and get the latest one, preferably on a contract and with verizon as your carrier so they cuck extra you hard with paying twice for the phone and the 1GB montly data caps.
>>
>>58876684

How do you know that? By the way I have a few spare phones already including a Nexus 5 which still works fine

I'll never go with another Samsung or Apple phone ever again. The Nexus/Pixel phones have officially supported bootloader unlocks which means they get updates for as long as someone is willing to build new ROMs for them. I'm downloading Lineage OS 14.1 for my Nexus 5 even though Google dropped support at Android 6.0.1. Feels good man. It's running CM 14.1 and it's as fast as the day I bought it. The phone will be useful until the hardware breaks.
