Hi I've ordered new case for my old components so I'm gonna clean It real good but I heard about this issue 'vacuum cleaner will destroy your pc with static charge'
Some say it is myth
others say it is 100% fact
some say they clean computers with vacuum 15years without issue
others say they have destroyed billions of computers with static electricity.
I personally think It is absolute bullshit because electronic in computer are not that sensitive, but on other side I seen dust to destroy them...
We are talking about 4 years old components so not something from 1990 or 2018

Better stay safe. Use a dish washer.

>Vacuum
You mean compressed air?
I doubt a vacuum is strong enough to suck all the dust
In any case just ground yourself before touching stuff and you are ok

Why not just use keyboard duster?

When you vacuum, dust rubs along the wall of the vacuum tube, building up a static charge. Once the charge is large enough the spark can jump from your wand to your mobo.
1/1000 people might vacuum their pc safely, but it's best not to risk it.
