Mesa, I don't have any use for a gaming card

Why do you use a ""powerful"" GPU again?
>>

Thanks famalam, although i dont like nvidia.

Mesa is as good or better in somethings as amdgpu-pro now. Open source is a very viable alternative on AMD hardware these days. Nvidia is just plain shit on open source drivers. Like 10fps vs 120fps bad.
>>
>>58828641
Why would I use open source drivers when it's the manufacturers job to make a working product?
>>
Mesa cant play doom vulkan though
Is there an easy way to swap to amd driver without breaking anything in manjaro?

mesa

fast enough for what i need, and much less hassle than the proprietary drivers, just werks, so to speak
>>
>>58829711
Because they *are* the manufacturer's drivers, in the case of Intel (and increasingly AMD).
>>

Does AMD hardware still require proprietary firmware?
