Depends on your mileage. If it's your first Linux, stay away from it, Ubuntu is a lot better to troubleshoot using google.

If you have at least some idea what you're doing, yea, it's fine.

So like if i spent 5 years in debian and debian derivates i should stay away?

On the contrary, that's a perfect stepping stone. Try it, I think you'll like it. I made the switch from debian too.

This is why I find these threads idiotic. Using icons when you could just use words to better describe what and why you are using.

I'm surprised no one has asked me about my four browsers yet.

I haven't had any other browser or Firefox variant remain stable and responsive with the same set of addons and 300+ tabs open, and at the same time consuming this little amount of RAM (never seen it above 2.8 GB).

There is also CyberCTR, that's Classic Theme Restorer integrated in Cyberfox, so when the addon becomes unsupported with version 57 in any other Firefox, Cyberfox will still have it.

These are the main points.

Spectrwm is more minimalistic, probably simpler to configure (I haven't used it myself) but also less customizable.

There are some themes for Awesome though so you don't have to do everything from scratch.
