Spanish and Portuguese are nigh identical, i.e. even if you don't know any Spanish you can understand 99% of what he's saying. Most of the audience simply overestimated their English skills and so they asked for a swap to Spanish midway so they would understand it easier.

Ask why Redox OS is able to progress so much faster than GNU/GNU/GNU/HURD. Both use microkernels though the ../HURD reuses an existing one.
