FUCK OFF. WE DONT WANT YOUR BULLSHIT HERE.
MODS PLS BAN.
>>58818400
4-width wastes too much space

>4
>Not 1
You obviously don't care about readability, so just drop it one space further.
>>58818508
If I didn't care about readability wouldn't I just not indent?

Spaces. There's no reason I should expect some characters to have a different width when using a monospaced font.
>>58818382
Why aren't you using <pre>? Monospaced fonts are the most readable and it will allow you to format however you want.
8 spaces
Doesn't matter because you can easily convert one to the other to suit your preference. Also the project style guide might stipulate what you should use.

Never understood the tab meme 2bh, why people are putting control characters into their code is beyond me

the absolute madman of this thread

As long as my IDE can manage that shit for me, I let it pick spaces for me.
>>58818382
There is no advantage to using spaces.
Tabs allow you to specify their width in your editor.
>Arguing about """programming""" related stuff's to prove /g/ how much of a """programmer""" because you do ""programming"" stuffs the thread.
Anyone that can't switch to between any tab, spaces and width shouldn't be allowed to post.
