Run a modified stock rom. Flash a new one over your current one when it comes out.

This even allows you to do backups with TWRP in case you fuck your shit up.

The only counter-argument to rooting is the loss of android-pay and some more anal apps.

Oh my god. I thought /g/ was smart. Why hasn't there been a fucking mention of Firefox yet? Seriously. It's the best browser available right now for Android. Nothing else even comes close. Like, there's all this cool add-ons you could add, especially uBlock Origin, which is like the best adblocker currently available. And if you find that Firefox is lagging, which isn't possible, just use Aurora. Seriously folks, be smart, use Firefox.
