Meme like arch or actual meme distro?

I use Guix (package manager) w/Debian. GuixSD is almost production ready it's similar to Nix except uses Scheme instead of the weird haskell DSL that Nix uses.
This is absolutely the best distro you will run either Debian w/Guix or NixOS because you can do fine grain dependencies meaning run multiple python version, and totally eliminate virtualenv and other environments. You configure your entire system with a contract and can deploy it as is anywhere/do rollbacks/preserve state exactly it's the future of distros and I'm guessing most of them will migrate to something like Guix

How did you get Guix working on Debian?
>>58811841
With this handy guide of course
https://www.gnu.org/software/guix/manual/guix.html#Installation and information from this talk about Guix http://dustycloud.org/misc/talks/guix/chicagolug_2015/guix_talk.html
Guix will run on any distro. It allows each user to install programs in their home directory, so no more /usr/local which means no root access needed.
I also run Hurd w/Debian, you can do pretty much anything these days with Debian however I am trying to migrate completely to GuixSD though it's not 100% ready for production yet, but works fine in my VM.
There is countless benefits of Guix such as being able to do reproducible builds and environments so if your job is creating docker containers you can do so using Guix and deploy it anywhere exactly as is without worrying about porting.
