I have one. It's doable but doesnt get very loud. You can turn the volume all the way up but the static is terrible.

Ignore all the "XD JUST USE YOUR PHONE NIGGA HAHA" autists. Having a graphing calculator is nice. It's fun to use, and I don't have to worry about battery life like on a laptop or a phone because of the display eating all my power.

I have an hp-50g. In terms of features of calcualtors I've used, it lies somewhere between a TI-84 and a TI-89, although it is pretty close to the functionality of the 89 imo. It can be had for around 50 dollars on Amazon, and for the price it is amazing.

But I like this calculator because it introduced me to Reverse Polish Notation input. It's a really nice way of doing calculations because YOU handle the order of operations via input, rather than putting in every single algebraic symbol.

If you don't wanna be a special snowflake and want algebraic, just lurk ebay and craigslist for TI-84's. YOu can snag one for 30 bucks I'm sure

I bought the cheapest $1-ish bluetooth 3.5mm dongle, the YET-M1 BT-163.

When I got this and tested it I found that it only supports Bluetooth 2. More importantly, the sound quality of it is absolute dogshit. It's just really, really bad.

Anyone want to recommend a simple Bluetooth reciever stick/cube/thing with a 3.5mm or spdif output which I can (ab)use to connect my phones and other technology to my stereo and/or speakers?

I have the Bluedio R's (took that pic just now), the newer non-SD card version. There is also a version with the exact same name that's limited to Bluetooth 3.0 which has a SD card reader.

The Bluedio R's have 8 small speakers (1 bass and 3 others for each ear) and they are based on the CSR8645 chip (you can look this up to see what it supports).

What I really like:
- The sound quality. I think they sound awesome. It should be noted that I haven't owned many over-hear headphones so I'm comparing to things like Koss Sporta Pro, earbuds and my stero.
- They support Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack and USB. If you connect this headset to a computer with a USB cable then it shown up as a USB sound card.
- The battery last really long. They are rated for 25 hours playback or something like that. You can travel a lot during a weekend and not charge them and still have some battery left.

What I do not like:
- The 3.5mm input jack is very narrow, it's smaller than normal. They do come with a cable and it's more than long enough. My worry is that if something happens to it then it's a problem replacing it.
- You have to turn the headset on to listen using the 3.5mm audio cable. This has never been a problem for me, I just don't like that it won't work with the 3.5mm input if I run out of battery. The flipside to this is that the Bluedio R's require very little power from the 3.5mm to play loud and clear so it could be powered by weak things (like phones, but those all have bluetooth anyway).
