No screen tearing (unlike Xfce or Lxde)
No annoying dumb UI (unlike Gnome 3)
Stable, not buggy (Unlike Kde)
Why aren't you using Unity /g/?
>i use i3, stupid DE toddler

i3 user here.
Floating windows are a relic of the last decade.
Tileing is the way to the future, especially on mobile devices.

Unity comes with a compositor, you retarded fuck.
If you install xcompmgr you get no screen tearing in ANY window manager.

It's buggy if it's under version 5.8. Luckily, 5.8 is now LTS and 5.9 stable.

Only the top part of the image loaded for me.

Only spergs and shitlords hate Unity. It is the onyl usable DE on Linux that does not make you want to kill yourself immediately after booting up your PC.
Compiz does a fantastic job dealing with the shortcomings of X, no screen tearing. However, audio and wifi seem to be universally shit on Linux regardless of distro.

Is this true? I abandoned xfce, cinnamon and kde due to diagonal screen tearing giving me a fucked up experience.
>>58806584
Cinnamon is pretty good.
