Panasonic Toughbooks have a history of living for years in an in-car environment in my company.

The Latitude XFR models were simply fucking awesome, but the newer ones I can't speak of. Yes they're nice but I don't think they offer the same level of ruggedness that the older XFR line did.

Hell, I owned a Latitude XFR 6400 and that fucker had what Dell called "Ballistic Armor" on it - body panels that literally could deflect small caliber weapons fire.

Oh, another great thing: you can take a Latitude XFR or rugged model and beat a Toughbook to pieces and keep right on going, Getac hardware as well.

Dell knows what the fuck they're doing, seriously.
