Something I found in an abandoned communications building in Northern Greenland (Thule). I believe it sat in the frozen elements (albeit sheltered indoors) since the early 2000s. I added some key stickers to convert in from Danish to English and a USB cable but it serves me well.
Refurbish it with hydrogen peroxide

No need. Just needed a good scrub.
I say so with experience.

Yep...and so far no. I'm still working on that old phone. I can't figure out the wiring.

Side note...I did get one of the other standard rotary phones working. I need to test it with stateside stuff (I only use my cell phone locally) but I suspect it works fine where pulse tones still function.
