So I'm thinking of upgrading my rig soon, price range between £100 - £200.
Any tips?

Install Windows 7. Costs nothing if you do it right, yet will make computing beautiful again.

Sounds good, I'll have to look into that.

Just run blackbird. It cleans it up good. No reason to be in the dark ages with ancient DirectX versions.
stop being a pussy and install any modern linux distribution, get 1000% performance improvement for $0
Buy a solid state drive and install Windows 7 on it, use your regular hdd as a storage drive.

You could upgrade RAM, GPU and/or buy an SSD depending on what you use your PC for most.
You could save up more money and
wait for Zen
If your mobo supports DDR4 new RAM is an easy upgrade
SSD is by far the best upgrade you can make. Just a 250 gig samsung evo 850 would be great, I believe they're right around $100 now
