>Exodus is one of the most-used Kodi addons out there, allowing users to obtain easy access to pirated movies and TV-shows. However, over the past week the same users were unwittingly part of a DDoS attack. After the issue raised eyebrows in the community, the Exodus developer rolled back the malicious code and retired.

This is why you wait for other people to beta test for you.

I don't use Exodus, but I do use Kodi.
Saw this article earlier and thought the dev himself was a literal retard as it appears the code was "ddosing" GitHub (spamming network requests).
Like what are you trying to fucking accomplish?
>>58788545
No but you are infected
Is Kodi just for devices attached to TVs or something? I tried to install it on my PC after all the shilling and it didn't seem that useful on a PC.

I have my desktop hooked up to my 55" (right next to actual desk anyway) and use my phone as a remote.
But you can streamline it with mini-devices like android sticks or whatever and a NAS.
Otherwise there's no difference.
>>58788580
same shit
fucking shills
>>58788161
how is it our fault you shat up your kodi install with dodgy piracy addons?

Same, I can see it's usefulness for people with lots of devices, massive media libraries and who have guests at their places regularly. I only watch anime and the ocasional movie though.
