This post on FB got me thinking. Is there actually still people who use Windows Vista or Windows XP?

What about Mac and Linux and Android? What is the oldest version you use of these operating systems?
>>
I still have an old Pentium machine running XP, but it's not connected to the internet. I mainly use it for running old 16-bit Windows programs.
>>
really zero reason to use old linux lads cmon

i got a tiger ibook clamshell i try and compile modern shit on using tigerbrew. apart from that the only two windows machines run windows 7.
>>
I still have a laptop that runs Mint 13.
>>
all my faculty's computers are literally core 2 duo Dell PCs with Vista on them

In IT guy once told me that older verions of linux are more secure
>>
>>58785850

>>
I have an old HP DC7100 running XP strictly offline.
>>

Believe me when I say here in Los Angeles some schools still use windows-fucking-XP
>>
Mom still uses XP

I'm on Arch and 10. Id have taken every bit of her business with no degree had she continued on her IT path.
>>
>Windows
XP
>Mac OS X
10.4.11
>Linux
2.6.31
>>

only the latest kernel on any machines I have control over

used to have a few some openvz vps but but switched to real virtualization, fuck being stuck at 2.6.32 with more or less an enhanced chroot on likely oversold infrastructure.
