I dont know anything about computers other than using it for games and basic stuff. Until few months ago I didnt care for anything except math and learning languages. I want to learn about programming so I can make stuff, I really dont know anything important for pc's but im often on this thread and I try to learn but I dont understand anything and I would really like to learn about that.
ok there is a thread similar to this but I think I asked the wrong question, what language should I learn? I heard C++ is a bit hard for beginners

What is there to know? Just pick a language and learn it, no?
>>58778982
How do you learn a language anon?
>>58778982
ok ill ask again but not in the same way. What language is useful but also not the hardest? Isnt there a shit ton of languages?

Well tell me what you are meaning when you say "Useful" . That can vary on who you ask with what they want to do.

But what I can say is that Python was my first language and it is useful within my line of work.
If you are not sure, there is no hurt in just picking up a language and learning it(It's not that hard).
Just Start with C, javascript or Python.

thank you
There should be a chart for people like this, same as there is a chart for choosing a browser.
Python: easy to learn, useful, fun, but also faggy and a meme
Javascript: easy to learn and good for jobs, but also pointless for many things
Java: lots of pointless typing, but good for jobs
C: old-fashioned, hardcore, fun, used for programming operating systems and complicated shit like that
C++: just C with added memes
Once you know one, subsequent ones are much easier to learn, so everyone should start with Python.
