laptop would randomly decide my headset was "communication headphones" and it should blast porn over the builtin speakers instead. I didn't notice for the whole fap & cranked it up because I thought it was just quiet, until somebody actually knocked on my door and asked me to turn it down

pulseAudio will at least allow me to change the stream to the right sink, Windows flat refused for a "communications headset"
