Just failed the 220-901. Studied for a couple weeks and have only experience building my own computer. Should I even waste another $200 for a retake or study for something else

I remember there was this program with test questions that I just took a bunch of times before testing and passed
Don't remember what it was called though

nope

Is there a job you are trying to get that requires it? A+ is a waste skip it straight to security+
Funnily enough I just passed the 220-901 a few hours ago. I used only the CertMaster from CompTIA. Doesn't matter though only having an A+ is worthless without experience.

Cram master?

How did you fail it. It's easy as fuck.
I passed that test when I was 15 lol

I did not expect so many questions about printers.
Aiotestking.com is king when it comes to sample questions. The Admin does update the exams periodically.
There are also hundreds of Cisco, comptia, Microsoft, juniper, ISC2 and other certs available.

This. I'd only go for A+ if you're working as a help desk monkey like Geek Squad or are doing it for the sake of completion.

same kinda. was 2 questions away from passing and felt like i didn't know shit going into the test. high school paid for it.
sucks i couldn't get it thinking back.

No
network+ and security+ and ccna
A+ isn't worth it.
The only reason I got it was because it was a requirement to get into a school.
Unless you want a help desk job, like others have said just study for the net+ and sec+ and work towards a CCNA.
