Do you tighten the screws on your media cables, /g/?
>>58757700
I tighten the screws on your mom
>>58757700
Anyone still using VGA in 2017 should be tightening a noose.
>>58757720
It's not just VGA that this applies to.
>>58757700
The screws are meme-tier. There's no reason why a VGA cord should have screws if power cords, usbs, etc. don't.
>>58757720
I'm using DVI
>>58757700
No because that would be degenerate.
>>58757720
Eat a dick faggot.
>>58757700
Yeah.
>>58757731
>no reason why a VGA cord should have screws if power cords, usbs, etc. don't.
heavier, shallower, larger moments
>>58757731
VGA its an analog signal, which it degrades easily if its badly plugged.
No one talked about HDMI screws. Now THAT is the best thing.
>>58757975
i have a dvi adapter with screws but i haven't seen hdmi with screws
>>58757740
Even a dirt cheap i3-2130 eBay special with a $30 SSD would crush that thing like a bug.
>>58757700
I mostly too lazy to so no
Ye senpai
Monitor DVI is always tight, pc is loose only when I am doing testing.
>>58757740
mother of god
>>58757720
here's your reply

Because it's a fucking retarded concept. VGA and DVI have screws because the pins on the cable literally just sit in the holes in the port with literally nothing securing it, plus it's an analog signal so a cable snagging on it can make the display flicker and turn all sorts of weird colors. HDMI and Display Port plugs "snap" in. Display Port is even more secure because most Display Port connectors have to be squeezed to pull them out of the port, where HDMI just snaps in.
>>58757719
>Port is still lose.
>tfw thinkpad has screw holes for VGA
aww yeah

I changed to HDMI recently, sorry m8
VGA because old monitor. I only tighten one of the screws because the other is broken.
I can't. My laptop's VGA out doesn't have holes for the screws.
The cable is screwed on the monitor, though.

>VGA/DVI
>Screws in to secure the cable
>Stops it from drooping down, destroying the ports on the gpu.
>Modern shit
>Can't screw them in
>gpu ports get fucked up because cables are so fucking heavy
Thanks innoveyshun.
