setting ass-style-override to "force" and then back to "no" makes increasing or decreasing sub-scale do nothing during playback, pls halp

I'm trying to add the webm loop option to the config file, but it seems to overwrite the entire configuration when I add it. This is what I have:

What's currently the correct way to use WASAPI in the config file? I tried retarding it up with ao=exclusive-mode and it didn't work, muted everything.

If I use a downscale and upscale filter on the same config file does mpv knows when to use each? Or do I need to use it according to the file I'm playing and add/remove every time?

Any idea of why I get this message:
