Anti virus is a virus in it of itself.

Many of them are poorly designed, install malware kernel space drivers that spy on your file transactions and even advertise to you.
Ever wonder what could happen if a virus could exploit said kernel space code?

They do nothing to stop zero days, they do nothing to stop anything other than known viruses which bar been hashed and worse of all they add a greater level of attackable area to get root on your fucking machine.
