What do you guys use to set a custom fan curve for your CPU? My CPU (6600K at 4.3Ghz) is currently idling at around 32-34C and reaching up to 65 in gaming sessions. MY cooler is a 212 Evo and I wanna raise the fan speed at certain temps. Is there a way to do that?

Kill yourself

if it reaches 65 under load and you want to increase fan speed to lower the temps - you are a fucking moron who has no idea what he is doing
>>
>>58748425
Is it okay for it to reach that temp under load in under just 30 mins of playing?

SpeedFan, now fuck off and learn to search the internet
>>
>>58748435
it is okay for a cpu to reach 80 degrees after 2 minutes.

There's your problem.

I have this cooler and it's an absolute bitch to assemble, attach, and keep in place. Just because it's the most popular doesnt mean it's good.

But it isn't?

maybe compared to default intel cooler.
>>

My i7 in my X220t reaches 94 degrees in under a minute. You'll be fine if it takes 65 degrees in 30 fucking minutes on a desktop CPU.

Please search Google first for such trivial stuff. A thread died for your post.

It's an objectively mediocre cooler. Don't know why it's so recommended.

Scythe Kotetsu costs about the same and performs noticeably better, even better than many expensive coolers.
