Hey nerds I recently just received a Nvidia tesla for free.
I dont want to sell it. Can I somehow incorporate this into my current workstation? I have no idea what a normal guy can do with this.
Can this be used to help me during gaming or rendering?
There is absolutely nothing you can do with it.

Probably can be set up for video rendering, or use it for cracking passwords.

Iv never seen this thing before. It seems like it can be used for calculations. Could I direct traffic from my processor to this thing or am I just making up stuff.

You could pickup some rendering, or autoCAD.
Otherwise you can sell it
Play some fucking games with it you pleb. Why else would you get a GPU?

Its not a conventional gpu. Think hyperscale and enterprise data center workloads.

Software needs to be compiled with CUDA support to use it for calculations. It's probably easy to find something online that uses CUDA and test it out if you want. You will most likely have to compile it yourself.
try mining ethereum with it, post hash rates.

You're probably full of shit, but if you aren't then you could use it as a workstation gpu, that's pretty much what it is.
give it back, jamal
>>58743635
you literally can't play games on a tesla since it doesn't have display out

Im not full of shit, who goes on here and pretends they have hardware? I have yet to do anything with it, its just idle.
