Hey /g/, I made a new 4chan archive.
Right now, it only archives /g/.
It's running on a $150/month Azure server (courtesy of Bizspark).
What do you think? Should I archive more boards?

I'm on a uni computer

how long will it last? do you even have enough bandwidth to run it for months?
>>58741518
Azure has very high bandwidth caps as far as I know. I have $150 per month in Bizspark to use on this until mid 2019, so it should run until then unless I try to stop it.
I made this thread the sticky in the archive

Good and cool to see and know that it supports the thread title in the url for the archive url.

Also. Plans on adding /v/ eventually, please? I'm fucking tired of fireden https://arch.b4k.co/v/
https://arch.b4k.co/v/ lacks search, literally and makes it almost fucking useless. archived.moe is fucking dead as a fucking dead horse.
Also, searching up images and posts via their image hash would be fucking great to find re-posts, posts, threads, re-posted images, stuff like that.
Good to see that it's snappy and responsive. If you could add in the themes/skins from warosu and rbt.asia that'd be real neato if you do that op.

You now have the verified capcode

b4k.co is actually using an old fork of the same archive software my archive is using. Right now, I don't have search enabled, but I'm going to get it working within a week.
As to archiving /v/, that is a very heavy image based board, so it would be difficult to do, but worthwhile. I could easily offset storage and make monthy archive dumps and purges.
Also, boards.4tan.org/v/ should have a /v/ archive

It's nice and all, hell of a lot fucking faster. Only thing is I can bitch about is the images are only cached as thumbnails and 404 if I want the full image/s.
Please make it so one can search for an exact phrase. Every time I look something with special characters on RBT or warosu it never recognizes them and only searches the words. For example if I search "/r/trackers" it'll search for "r" and "trackers"
Also you should archive slow boards that aren't archived anywhere else
