>Current state of Windows
>Goodbye Linux edition.
i wish windows bash worked anon, i really wished
but in reallity you cant even make a simple openssh server without messing with the configs
almost nothing works in reality
>>58740768
Is microsoft hiring low energy edge shills these days?
Such a pity. I knew desktop is dying along with microsoft but this is just sad.
>>58740793
It has worked for me marvelous.

While Linux supports hundreds of shells including Powershell.

Typical Linux

You mean typical windows
>>58740853
It just werks.

With some feedback amirite
>>58740951
Witch is awesome, direct contact with the developers, I see nothing wrong there.
>>58740978
I can make a calculator without having to check if it is running okay and disturbing the work flow.
If your programmers need a feedback for something as simple as that it shows where your company is headed to.
>>58740991
>I can make a calculator without having to check if it is running okay and disturbing the work flow
Really? show me the code and lets see.
>>58740978
>direct contact with the developer
>implying
you don't probably know how it works. Devs don't care unless their boss tell them to.
t. Actual dev
>>58741012
I'm a dev too, and it sucks to be you in that shitty job where you need your boos for such trivial things.

>>58741033
I wish I worked for a small and friendly company like you.
>>58741044
>https://github.com/GNOME/gnome-calculator
So, you a re GNOME dev?
apoligize
right now!
>>58741081
What for, my calculator works better than yours. Is that why :^)
>>58741092
At least my file picker show thumbnails.
>>58740889
basic shit that just runs on linux cant run properly on windows
nice OS, very good for botnet, not so good at the rest
>>58741104
You don't have a file picker. That's just a poorly trimmed down windows explorer that blocks hundreds of signals to actually appear to work.
>>58740951
>Please go to the Store and rate this Calculator app.
>>58741143
But it Works, meanwhile your file picker even has security holes.
>>58741179
>But it Works
lol if only you knew
I miss the days when I used to be bluepilled
>>58741199
You are opening the memory of a cellphone moron, it is has it works in every OS.
Does 'ip' work yet in Linux for Windows? No? Not interested.
>>58741237
>He didn't read the uri path before uploading the image
You retard.
>>58741259
As you can see in the image, it is serving a web page, so, it werks.
>>58741268
How is that relevant again? haha
>>58741295
Stick to Linux dude, honestly, it makes wonders containing retards like you.
>>58741309
>>58741309
>>58741220
OMG you are so adorable
>>58741342
That's not the file picker, your file picker will have no thumbnails because it's loaded from an external memory
>>58741388
Uh oh
>>58741342
>That's not GNOME or is a patched filepicker bacause oficially GNOME doesn't have thumbnails in file picker
That damahe control
>>58741400
They couldn't make those tiny thumbnails on the left just a bit bigger?
I mean do these people ever use the fucking browser?
What file picker is that, I'm pretty sure my lubuntu VM doesn't even have those tiny thumbnails jesus
>>58741400
No wonder it has security holes. even /shiedit has a thread about it.

It's because gtk is pretty complex and no one is going to take the risk of braking it.
I'm thinking of rewriting the file chooser widget in the next fall.
That'll be gtk4
>>58741529
It's been what 13 years since that meme pic bugzilla report?
13 years to make a fucking file picker.
Someone made that half assed patch and if one guy can do it so can whoever maintains this crap
>>58741592
That maintainer is a dumb fucktard. In fact, once I rewrite it I'll be a co maintainer and get rid of him eventually.
However that patch was really low quality pull. I mean it ""works"" but the code is so shitty it would block KDialog signals as well.
If we adopted it, Qt apps would break.
>Who made this patch
A /g/ toddler
>Why it got ignored
Shitty algorithm, it doesn't fix, it overrides
>What the maintainer did
Ignore, masturbate to furry porn
>Wat do
Use KDE or wait until I get rid of him after rewriting the widget.
>>58741653
God bless
>>58740822
Get the fuck out shill.

>>58742506
So I've heard for a year now. It's hard, I know. People like you are trying their best. It's just not good enough sometimes.
>>58740853
all basic calculators work like that lol, if you type that in a shit tier 1$ calc that'll happen
only scientific calculators and above consider multiplications before sum
