Also, they're dirt cheap on ebay, they make brilliand Backup / secondary keyboards for systems you may not use as often.
Try to get the IBM Models with PS/2, called SK-8820 if you want one. In my Opinion they feel better than cheap-ish Mechanical Keyboards.

You can try just having a strip at the bottom of the desk for some underglow mood lighting, which can look nice, and maybe something similar behind the TV, but if you don't use it then I wouldn't really bother. I mainly just set it up to light my shelf and used the leftover strip on the TV. You can get some cheap kits on AliExpress. Just look for 5050 RGB LEDs I think and 44 key controllers.

Yeah, there are some nice and cheap stuff there. Just make sure it's 5050 RGB and it comes with a power source and a 44 key controller. Just look for well reviewed things with lots of orders from trusted sellers and you should be good to go. Also, the waterproof ones usually have some silicone over the strip that gets a bit yellow over time, so try to get regular ones without that, since it's unnecessary.

Cleaned up a bit because actually having needed stuff lying on your desk is apperantly triggering on here.

Changed my Keyboard for the UNICOMP Modell M

Tied the cables cominmg from the TV together and also improved the cable management under the desk as best as possible, most of them are considerably short and there's pretty much only one way to have them.

thank you too, looks awesome ! More pictures, since i'm gathering ideas and want to make it optimal. The thyge also is a good idea, but I will definitely need a keyboard tray, preferably the whole width. I'm aiming for a shallow and tall desk, since place is limited at this moment, so I can use the place on the top too. I think i can also get two shiny acrylic laptop/monitor stands for work.

I got two ikea annefors in black for free, would use them for the supports/feet, too bad they are too short for using with a kbd tray...But if i find appropriate feet or a way to raise the top i can use the space between, which would be superb.

Only problem I encountered is having no counter pressure behind the ports makes it wobble. I'm probably going to mount under so it's sturdier.

So I just got my first ever 1440p monitor.

I've got a question. Do you guys use scaling? It autoconfigured as 125% scaling (recommended by Windows).

Everything is so small compared to 1080p. The monitor is 1440p 25".

What do you think?
