OP, while I despise firefox, it is indeed a problem Chrome/Chromium has been having for ages. 4chan X is always slower on it.

it's fast as shit now. problem was that I had all that dynamic linking and embedding in pages.

I can now scroll the whole 300 reply page with a single flick of the scroll wheel. it's fucking glorious and smooth as butter.

I fucking doubt that Firefox would do any better with all those embeddigs. If anything, it would be much slower since Chromium has a much faster JS engine.
