And a hefty supply of ammunition

A USB power bank. Shit, I carry so much USB-powered stuff around with me on a daily basis, and battery life becomes more or less a non-issue when you have 20000mAh in your back pocket.

Speaking of which, why has nobody made a battery with lots of smaller cells, instead of several larger ones? Wouldn't that create less heat and less hazard of explosion for about the same amount of power?

Probably space and cost. Explosion hazards aren't really an issue if you're a responsible manufacturer (i.e. not Samsung).

You would think I would know the answer to this... I work at Duracell, but I'm just a mechanic. I do know that we have far fewer problems with 9 volts (6 smaller cells) leaking and exploding than AAs (single cell denser cathode/anode)

cordless grinder
makes a fantastic crime tool just saying

>Tfw have a really nice Dremel with over 9000 attachments and accessories
>its corded, and so cumbersome to drag out, I never use it

Space, and amperage limits. A high voltage multi-cell battery usually has weak cells with super low amp/wattage ratings, also multi cell batteries adds a whole extra balancing cell cost in for rechargeables
But mostly amperage, low amperage batteries are always safer, but low amperage batteries suck ass
Of course a battery that can output 80W for 3 hours is gonna have some kind of potential energy hazard, it's just a non issue nowadays
Especially with the Samsung problem, I couldn't imagine they use cheap recycled Taiwan chinkshit batteries, the expensive Taiwan OEM batteries are just as cheap and completely stand out from the battery black market in Asia right now
USB Voltmeter to check and rate your other gadgets, mine even counts the capacity of power banks
fidget cubes, don't own one myself, but they seem fun for the price
cheap smartphone watches are nice and only cost around 15 bucks
butane lighters look cool and are quite useful
