My scanner stopped working on the newest version of OSX about 1 year ago because the maker stopped updating the drivers.
The scanner still works perfectly on Windows 10 and Ubuntu without searching around for drivers or using paid scanning software.
Why do people still use OSX?

There are 3rd party solutions if you were to look for them rather than just pewling and crying.

canon is notorious for not supporting older hardware and doesnt release drivers for it. I have a older scanner that works on XP but theres no windows 7 drivers. pissed me off. so the only way i cam use it now i to use the XP mode virtual machine to be able to scan shit. FUCK YOU CANON
