Wanna know how I know you're fat?
I never used BeOS so i literally have no comparison to this.
I don't even know why some people mourn BeOS and think it was a solution to personal computing

not technology related

>I don't even know why some people mourn BeOS and think it was a solution to personal computing
it's just /g/ .. everyone who has actually used BeOS knows it's just a toy os. it was even advertised as a toy os
There is literally no software for it. No reason to use it whatsoever
>>58696343
just leave /g/, man
This is why we need a separate consumer electronics board

It's dead, last alpha was released 5 years ago

It had some great features but Gassee wanted too much for it. Apple offered him $125Million for it but he eventually sold to Palm for $11Million.

development still continues and there will be beta 2 soon, they don't act like ubuntu and make new """""stable"""" build every 6 months
>lubuntu 16.10 changelog
>we still haven't switched to lxqt
>base is upgraded from 16.04 to 16.10

if it's "usable" i might dual boot it with linux, just for the sake of having alternative, can i shitpost with this? firefox?
It's beautiful, for a single-user system. Which most desktop PCs are designed for in the first place. It's also got enough software support to do most of your basic daily usage needs. Doesn't have much in the way of games.

haikuos takes the bsd "throw it out" mentality a few steps further, it's so catastrophically, hilariously autistic.
There literally isn't a single haikuos "user" that isn't a hipster.
It's okay. The best web-browser for it imo is Qupzilla.
I don't see why you'd use it daily, though.
>>58696856
it works just fine. there is qupzilla and firefox available. qupzilla has adblock build in
Good desktop
Useless though

It's a great idea delivered far too late and thus is now a useless pile of hipster garbage.
