Harder. Also, any electrical/computer engineer can work as a software engineer if he/she wants. You learn how to code too. It's a much more versatile degree.

Depends what you mean. It's harder to learn how to become a computer engineer, but it's much easier to get a job with that degree. Even software engineering jobs you're not qualified for will be easier to get into.
