What is the best flowchart software and why? Bonus points if you know of flowchart software where you link flowcharts together (ie. cliick on a node in flowchart and have it expand into a more detailed flowchart detailing that part of the system. Even more bonus points if open source.

I have to use it for work to make room plans for system integration. I really hate it sometimes. But once you know shit like "use the arrow keys to align, press f2 to rename" you can get really complex stuff done very quickly. Sucks though because some update for 2016 broke the template thumbnails. The templates themselves work but the preview in the bottom left corner is fucked. Only gray squares and shit.
