I do this at 1.5 for interesting videos and 1.25 for making me laugh videos. I then rewatch interesting videos at a lower rate if it's interesting enough to warrant a second viewing (computerphile or videos on programming concepts)

I took a linear algebra course at uni a few years ago. Never did anything until I had like 4-5 days left until exam. Speed saw MIT lin alg course on youtube at 1.5x on adderall, writing notes at the same time. I think I barely passed the class.

Reading gives a lot more information per second than watching a video if it's not something that explicitly needs to be shown.
