Load temps are fine seeing as the absolute max temp Nvidia set on the 980Ti is 90°C and it throttles at 84°C and the only game that pushes it that hard is the witcher 3. All other games run around 72°C or lower, and this is at 1440p btw. I could also drop it a few degrees if I ran my fans at 100% however, I value lower noise more than I value lower temps beyond a certain point. And no, nobody makes an aftermarket blower because blower coolers are objectively worse. They are only better in tight configurations with limited airflow.

You mean the guts side or cables side?
Cables side on mine doesn't really close, it's just hooked on the front and secured with thumbscrews on the back. It bows a lot in the middle.
Guts side does just barely close without touching the CPU heatsink, but it sure does get toasty inside.

Yeah, you got quite a lot of PC in such a case.
I don't know your case is built, but couldn't you tuck the cables behind the motherboard tray or hard drive cages? Get a copper wire (like the one I got for front IO and SATA cables) and see what you can tie up. It would probably help with the airflow around your CPU cooler a bit.
>>
>>58689863
Watercooled the 1060 before I knew about the jew oc barrier.. Anyway it got really fucking hot (throttle hot) in that shit case on air, now it loads at 40c during furmark.

As for zen I just want something new and fun to overclock, the 4790k loads at 70-80c's depending on application. Fuck intel and the z+k oc only, and no baseclock.

>>58691943
The v1000 psu I got on sale for the price of a v750, which at the time was lower priced than the v650 for some reason. Don't give me shit about "you only need 350w platimum psu", I dont care.

The gtx1060 6gb I got for under the price of the 3gb on a hour sale. It runs everything I have tried with plenty over 60fps on my 2560x1080p screen.

Watercooling parts are old as fuck. Have them, might as well use them.

Objectively wrong, especially for a case like yours. I have the FT02 which has the same layout and blower cooler style cards perform better and keep the rest of the case ambient temperature cooler as well. You are defeating the entire purpose of having a FT case like that with your after market cooler.

Dear /guts/.

How to properly clean your case out of dust and prevent dust gathering?

While this case (Corsair 200R) is much better at this aspect than my previous one, I worry about huge number of holes everywhere. Normally, when my PC is not working, I cover the upper section with paper, but there are still sides.

I normally clean like every few weeks and while case collects much less dust than what I would expect, it still gather a little.
>>
>>58704807
dust aint gonna destroy it
>>
>>58683251

That looks almost exactly like mine
>>
>>58705174

I thought it disturb heat dispersion.
>>
>>58705236
you need to build up a lot of dust between heatsink fins before you get noticeable effects

just check your temps once in a while
>>
>>58704807
I just buy a can of compressed air and clean the whole thing like twice a year.
Though I clean my dust filters every few weeks.
>>
>>58702492
do you not have dust filters wtf
