I just add and remove weighted until I pinpoint the comfiest setting
It's 3 weights as far towards the back of the mouse as possible

the lighter the better

Adding weights does improve the feel of it, but for me it definitely doesn't improve usability. It's supposed to reduce over travel.

I have no idea why people add weights to mice. I just attribute it to poor fine motor skills. I used to teach piano and it's amazing how many people have clubs for hands.

I'm a righty and just switched to left hand mouse use. Between the cli and vimperator I barely use it anyway, only like to hover over images, and an occasional gui tool. Having fun so far, maybe this will make ambidextrous.
